About the Artist
I endeavor to create digital artworks with light gathered through the lens of a camera and developed on a computer screen that are intentionally reminiscent of watercolors, pastel drawings, oil paintings, pencil sketches, and mosaics as well as representational photographs. I especially enjoy exploring the interplay of light and pattern in natural landscapes and scenes, such as those found ephemerally at dawn, under an overcast sky, or abstractly along a facet of a sunlit prism. This process involves applying an array of digital development tools and painterly techniques seeking to reveal delicate patterns, translucence, and inner light with the goal of conveying a sense of peacefulness and serenity through my art. Many of the works featured in this Gallery have appeared in art shows and regional Exhibits, and have received over a dozen awards among them. Living as a zebra, I include more dazzling pictures as resources allow. I hope that sharing my art brings others joy and contentment.
